with substances bound from the body
Has no side-effects reported
Enterosgel® is supported by an extensive body of published clinical research over the past 30 years. Efficacy has been proven by clinical trials; the first trial was in 1982. The International Date of Birth of Enterosgel® (the date of the first marketing authorisation) is 29.7.1994. The total number of clinical evaluation participants (including post-marketing evaluation) is more than 21,000 subjects. More than 395 scientific papers and publications have been produced.
Currently, 100,000,000 single doses of ENTEROSGEL® (6,000,000 packages) are administered annually in Europe. A significant favourable effect from Enterosgel® treatment in compliance with the instructions for use has been recorded in a majority of the patients.
As to date, no unfavourable (unforeseen) side effects not stated in the instructions for use have been encountered, which has been confirmed also by the regular reports on the safety of medicinal products.
The risk associated with the use of Enterosgel® has thus been assessed as insignificant (less than 1:1,000,000). is a natural silicon based preparation intended for the elimination of toxic substances from the organism, adjustment of microbiocenosis, regeneration of mucosal epithelium and other tissues in the body. It exhibits high biocompatibility.
Enterosgel combines the following properties:
Sorption and detoxication
Enterosgel has a solid porous granular structure (similar to a sponge) with defined pore dimensions, the size of which allows for the binding and elimination of middle molecular mass toxins only: toxic compounds, protein catabolism products, bilirubin, cholesterin, urea, and creatinine. It does not affect the microelements and other beneficial substances.
Bactericide action
It destroys pathogenic microorganisms in the gastrointestinal tract and in sex organs (in application use). It carries away microorganism catabolic products and life activity products. Gram negative and gram positive microbes and Candida fungi are the objects of adhesion and destruction. The product's adhesion and destruction mechanisms do not target saprophyte intestinal microflora (lactobacillus, bifidobacteria, etc.). Unlike eubiotic microflora (lactobacillus, bifidobacteria), pathogenic microflora does not exhibit affinity to the intestinal tract, which safeguards its elimination from the body physiologically on the surface of Enterosgel and the elimination of dysbacteriosis symptoms. Enterosgel binds and eliminates rotaviruses.
Mucosa regeneration
Through the sorption of toxic products of the life activities of microflora, which damage the epithelium of the gastrointestinal tract, and through the sorption of deficient metabolism products, Enterosgel creates ideal conditions for mucosal regeneration. It enhances the immune protection of the epithelial barrier of the intestinal mucosa. In the lumen of the intestine, the concentration of immunoglobulin A, responsible for the protection thereof, increases, and the mucosal surface is protected from the penetration of microorganisms into the body.
Inhibits endotoxin aggression
The use of Enterosgel reduces the concentration of the endotoxin (lipopolysaccharide) present in gram negative bacteria. Excess amounts of endotoxin in the body aggravate a number of pathological processes.
Irreversibly binds alcohol and its catabolic products
The use of Enterosgel allows not only for an efficient binding of alcohol and its break-down products, which are present in the gastrointestinal tract, but also for the decrease of its blood levels, because alcohol and its catabolic products are carried back from blood to the intestine lumen. Enterosgel absorbs them in the intestine lumen and prevents their re-absorption. In addition, the use of Enterosgel allows for the reduction of systemic intoxication of the organism, which increases with underlying alcohol intoxication, reducing the toxic burden on the liver and other organs.
Reliable in destroying E-Coli bacteria, intestinal infections agent.
